Using Google Docs, Sheets and Slides instead of Word, Excel and Powerpoint

At HHM Hotels we use Google Workspace as our enterprise platform which includes the following apps and functions:
  1. Gmail - Similar to Outlook, provides the ability to send and receive emails.
  2. Google Calendar - Provides the ability to schedule events.
  3. Google Meet - Similar to Teams or Zoom, provides the ability to do video conferencing.

  4. Google Docs - Similar to Microsoft Word, provides the ability to create and edit documents.
  5. Google Sheets - Similar to Microsoft Excel provides the ability to create and edit spreadsheets.
  6. Google Slides - Similar to PowerPoint provides the ability to create and edit slide decks and presentations.
Why we love Google Workspace:
  1. Easily access all Google apps from any web browser, no computer app installs required.
  2. Anytime you make a change to a Google file, changes are automatically saved after each edit.
  3. Multiple people can collaborate on a file at the same time.
  4. iPhone and Android apps available for access to Google apps on the go.
  5. Google continues to add new features regularly.
We understand that you may be more familiar or comfortable with Microsoft's apps so we'd like to help you get more familiar and comfortable using Google's apps.

When you are ready to learn more you can check out the Google Workspace Learning Center and read below.
