Create rules and filters in Gmail
About: In the example below you will see how to ensure an email that went to spam lands in your inbox however this process can be followed for any email in your Gmail inbox as well.
| Find the message you want to make a rule or filter for and right click it |
| Click Find emails from...
|
| |
| Add any other parameters to your search then click Create filter
|
| Check the boxes you want to make the email behave as you'd like
In this example I am telling it to never send it to spam. You can also automatically apply labels, archive it, delete it, etc.
Optionally you can check the box to also apply this filter to existing emails in your inbox.
When your filter is ready, click Create filter.
