Set a folder to be available offline

About: You may find it helpful to set certain folders inside of your G: drive as "available offline" if you are planning on being disconnected from the internet and still need to work with your files - or as a troubleshooting step to improve performance. See below to learn how.

Find the G: drive via the File Explorer

Set a folder to be available offline

  1. Right click any folder inside of your G: drive.
  2. Hover over Drive File Stream.
  3. Select Available Offline.

Drive File Stream will begin to download the folder to your hard drive so that you can work with your files while not connected to the internet or to troubleshoot performance issues with the G: drive.
