Recover a previous version of a file

About: Google Drive keeps track of versions of files that you have in your Drive. As you update or overwrite files in your Drive, you have the ability to restore a previous version if necessary. The instructions below are only applicable to files that are not a Google Doc, Sheet, Slide, etc.

	Open Google Drive  Go to drive.google.com  in your web browser
	Select the file you want to recover  Click the file one time to select it - it will be highlighted in light blue.
	Open previous versions Click    to view more information about the file selected.  Click the Details pane. Click the Manage Versions icon.
	Download and restore previous version You should see multiple versions of the file. Find the version from the date you want to restore and download the file. Now you can modify this file and re-upload it to Google Drive and make it the current version.
