New Model Time Clock Troubleshooting

Reboot Time Clock


Acquire the key

Typically the GM or Chief Engineer will have the key. The keys are universal and works on all Time Clocks.



Unlock the Time Clock from the right side using the key



Pull the Front Panel Towards you then Up to Remove it from the Back Panel

Be careful when removing the Front Panel from the Back Panel as there are 2 cables connected at the back of the Front Panel. Pulling the Front Panel to hard might damage the cables.



Press the Reset Button

Its located at the back of the Front Panel next to the 2 cables.



Reconnect the Front Panel with the Back Panel

While the Clock is rebooting, make sure the 2 cables are still connected then reconnect the Front Panel with the Back Panel and lock it.




Verify Ethernet Cable is Connected to the Time Clock


Acquire the key

Unlock the Time Clock from the right side using the key



Pull the Front Panel Towards you then Up to Remove it from the Back Panel

Troubleshoot Ethernet cable

You should now have access to the Ethernet cable at the back of the Front Panel.




Connect the Ethernet cable to a laptop and see if its connected to the network. It could say connected to  Hersha.net or which ever the Hotel Network is.



If it shows that its connected to the network and able to browse the web then there is nothing wrong with the Ethernet cable. Plug the Ethernet cable back to the Time Clock and mount it back on.

If it shows Hersha.net but with limited access.  Contact Support at 717-412-5510 to see if it needs to be trusted

If it shows that its not connected to a network, then it could be something wrong with the Ethernet cable. Replace the Ethernet cable or try a different port on the wall.  Contact Support at 717-412-5510 for assistance



Verify Ethernet is Enabled and Connected to Host


Type 999000999000 on the keypad then press Go



Enter password TouchBas3Admin1! and then press Sign In



Select Host Configuration




Select Ethernet



















If  Setup Ethernet is grayed out. Follow section  Verify Ethernet Cable is Connected to the Time Clock and make sure the Ethernet cable is connected

Make sure Ethernet is set to ON



Tap on Verify Ethernet Settings



Once it verifies make sure it shows  Settings Verified



Click on Continue



Verify the following settings and then press Register

For  Select the appropriate domain to  Other
For  Enter your Company URL type in https://hershahospitalityclk.ultiprotime.com/touchbasehost/

Press  Register when you are done



Click on Return without Further Changes



If it connected to the host successfully, the device will reboot on its own and should be on the keypad screen
Test it and see if its working as intended

If you get error message  "getaddrinfo failed: EAI_NODATA (No address associated with hostname)"
The URL is incorrect, type in the URL again in step 8

If you get error message  "isConnected failed: EHOSTUNREACH (No route to host)"
The Ethernet is not connected to the tablet
