View a delegated inbox

About: When a user is terminated, their supervisor will receive an email notifying them that they now have access to that users mailbox for a limited period of time. Delegation gives supervisors access to the user's mailbox as if it was their own.  Below are the steps to view a mailbox delegated to you.

You will see the accounts delegated to you under your account information. Click on the account name to open the mailbox in a new window.

From the delegated mailbox you can perform all the same actions as you can from your own account, such as configure an out of office message, search, print, or respond to email.  It is important to note that delegation is not forwarding, if you need incoming email forwarded to you or someone else, please contact us by emailing support@hhmlp.com, calling 717-412-5510 or submitting a ticket via our portal.


Open Gmail 

Go to mail.google.com in your web browser.

Click the big Google button in the top right corner



Find the delegated account(s)

You will see delegated accounts under your account information. Simply click to open the delegated account in a new tab.

If you do not see the account you are expecting to see, sign out of Gmail and sign back in and try again. If you still do not see it please contact us.




Use the delegated inbox as necessary

Now that you have the delegated inbox open in a new tab, you can search, print or respond to emails, configure out of office message and more.
