Configure Dual Monitors



Right click anywhere on your Desktop then click Display settings


 

Click Identify to understand what order the monitors are in

When you click Identify, each monitor will display a number so you can understand how Windows has the monitors configured. 





 

Rearrange monitors if necessary

You may need to rearrange  your monitors. For example in the screenshot below we are moving the monitor labeled 1 so that is on the left side of monitor 2. Click and drag your mouse to rearrange the monitors.





 

Configure monitor to Extend desktop

Select the monitor by clicking on the corresponding number then scroll down and make sure Extend desktop is selected
