Create a News post on Inside HHM

Note: You will need to request access to post on Inside HHM by opening a ticket with HHM IT.


Open Inside HHM


Create a new post from our template

  1. Click Create.
  2. Hover over News.
  3. Select Inside HHM News Article Template 2.0.


Modify the template to your liking

You will need to configure:
  1. Title of the post
  2. The URL should auto-generate based on the title
  3. Upload a featured image (this will show in the news feed and in the featured news widget on the main page)
  4. Choose ALL under Visible by
  5. Double click the Introduction / HTML content widget to edit. In the HTML content widget you can upload images, add links, embed videos - really anything you can do in HTML you can do in here.


Get ready to publish

  1. Configure a start date and time under Publication date (when you want the page to go live)
  2. If you want to story to be featured in the Featured News widget on the front page, select Featured and configure a start and end time (2 weeks is what we normally do)
  3. Optionally you can post on behalf of someone else by using the Write on behalf of field.



Publish

When you are ready, click Save and Publish at the top left. You can still edit and modify the page after publishing if there are typos / forgot to add something, etc
