Create a Chrome Website Shortcut



Open Google Chrome and go to the site you want a shortcut for



Click the 3 dots in the upper right



Create a shortcut

  1. Hover over More tools.
  2. Click Create shortcut...


Configure your shortcut

  1. Give your shortcut a name and if you'd like your shortcut to open in it's own dedicated window instead of a new tab, select Open as window.
  2. Click Create.



Find your shortcut

Minimize your windows and look on your desktop for the shortcut you just created.



If you selected Open as window, you'll see that the web page opens in it's own window and if you'd like you can pin this to your Windows Task Bar.
