Create a service request with Dell

About: If you are experiencing hardware issues with your Dell computer, follow the instructions below to get help directly from Dell.

Note: Before calling, you should gather your computers model and service tag (serial number) so that you have it ready. See this help article from Dell to find your service tag.

	Call 800-624-9897
	When asked what you need help with, say REPAIR
	When asked about a code, say "Service Tag", then read your service tag Your service tag is the computers serial number, and will be 7 characters long. Example: CF6JWT2. After you read your service tag, you will be prompted to say yes or press 1, or say no or press 2. See this help article from Dell to find your service tag.
	Describe your issue to the Dell support agent Be detailed when describing your issue so that they can help you.
	Coordinate a solution If you are unable to resolve the issue over the phone, Dell will schedule an on-site visit to perform repairs or replacements.
