Check for malicious Chrome Extensions

About: Some Chrome Extensions can be very helpful. However some websites prompt to install Chrome Extensions that redirect your searches, send you notifications, or behave maliciously. If your Chrome web browser is behaving in any in a strange way, follow the instructions below.

 

Open Google Chrome


 

Click the 3 dots in the upper right


 

Open Extension settings

  1. Hover over More tools.
  2. Click Extensions.

 

Remove malicious or unfamiliar Extensions

Click Remove on any Chrome Extensions that you do not recognize or appear malicious. If you're not sure, create a ticket so we can assist.

Close and reopen Chrome and see if your issue is resolved.
